Bio
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Kent State University. I received B.E. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the Tsinghua University of China in 1997 and 2000. I further received my PhD degree in computer science from the Stony Brook University in 2006. My research interests include natural phenomena modeling, physically-based simulation and visualization, data and information visualization, image and geometric processing, and general purpose computing on graphics hardware (GPGPU).
My research is currently supported by a NSF grant for a fluid simulation and visualization system. I am working with several PhD and Master students at the Visualization and Graphics Lab of Kent State.
