Bio
Shaowen Ye, Ph.D., is an associate researcher at the Institute of Aquatic Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, specializing in fisheries ecology and ecosystem ecology. He is mainly engaged in research on fish population and community ecology, food web model and dynamics, ecosystem-based theory and technology for conservation and sustainable utilization of fishery resources, standardized assessment of inland fishery resources, etc. He has conducted research at the University of California, Berkeley, USA; Ohio State University, USA; University of Toulouse III, France; National Institute of Ecological Agriculture, France for visiting research. Currently, he is a member of the Freshwater Ecology Committee of the Chinese Ecological Society, a member of the Lake Branch of the Chinese Ocean and Limnology Society, and a member of the Fisheries Resources Sub-Technical Committee of the National Fisheries Standardization Technical Committee. In recent years, he has undertaken three projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participated in two projects of the National Key Research and Development Program.
