Yawei Yin

Yawei Yin [M'11] received his B.S. degree in applied physics from the National University of Defense Technology, Changsha, China, in 2004 and his Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), China, in 2009. Since 2009, he has been with the Next Generation Networking Systems Laboratory, University of California at Davis (UC Davis). His research interests include OCS/OBS/OPS networks, low-latency, scalable all-optical switches for data centers and high performance computers, elastic optical networking algorithms, simulations and experiments, as well as software defined network control and management technologies.
