Yaohui Fan

Yaohui Fan was born in Luoyang City, China, in 1973. He received the Bachelor Engineering degree in opto-electronic technology from Xidian University, Xi'an City, China, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree from the Australian International Gravitational Research Centre, The University of Western Australia, Perth, W.A., Australia, in 2010. From 1996 to 2004, he was with the Beijing Free Electron Laser Laboratory, Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. In 1998, he spend seven months with National Synchrotron Light Source, Brookhaven National Laboratory, New York, NY, USA, as a Visiting Academic. In 2010, he joined the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems, The University of Western Australia, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. His current research involves designing superconducting reentrant cavity transducers for the use of quantum measurement and control.
