Bio
Yang is a Ph.D. student and Trust scholar at the University of Cambridge. He does inter-discipline research on statistics and public health. His first and essential research interest is the statistical theorem, more specifically, is the developing of advanced and adaptive statistical method to deal with high-dimensional and complex data set. His current research interests include Bayesian cut model, empirical dynamic modeling, spatial model and regression model. His second research interest is infectious disease modeling with a special focus on respiratory disease. He is also interested in phylogeography.
