Bio
Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (2018) from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). MSc in Health Surveillance (2020) from Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz). PhD in Veterinary Medicine (2023) from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). Post-doc Researcher at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Collaborator in the Laboratory of Advanced Analysis in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (LAABBM) and in the Food Analysis Center of the Laboratory for Support to Technological Development (NAL-LADETEC), both at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Has 12 scientific articles published in international journals with a high impact factor. He works as a reviewer for 10 international journals. During his undergraduate studies, he worked with the application of non-thermal food preservation methods, modeling the growth and inactivation of bacteria, and central composite rotatable design. In the Master, he acquired experience in the area of Food Sanitary Surveillance, in the study and evaluation of physicochemical methodologies (sensory and instrumental) for fish quality assessment, with an emphasis on quality index method (QIM) and texture profile analysis (TPA). During his PhD, he worked as Invited Professor in the discipline of Chemical and Biochemical Transformations in Food Processing (UFRJ), and worked on high-intensity ultrasound applications in the processing of different food matrices.
