个人简介
Yong Seok Hwang (member of KOSK,KICS) received a B.Sc. in Electronics engineering and a M.Sc. in Electronics engineering from Pukyong National University, Korea, in 1990 and 1997, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics engineering from Pusan National University, Korea, in 2004. He was a Post-doctor in electrical & computer engineering at the University of Connecticut under a visiting scholarship from the Korea government (NRF). He was a Research Professor with the Electronics engineering, The Kwangwoon University, Korea, from 2007 to present 2023. He has co-authored more than 20 published papers for journals and conferences. His research interests include volumetric holographic optical element(VHOE) based augmented reality (AR) devices such as transparent projection display, HUD and Holo glasses and integral imaging display, hologram image processing, machine learning, human-computer interaction, non-touch interfaces, human gesture recognition, autism diagnosis, as well as digital therapeutics. He is a member of KOSK and KICS. He performed HoloDigilog Human Media Center Project for 8 years, He served as a research professor in Nano Device Application Center (NDAC).
