I study the pathogenesis of MDS and the molecular mechanism underlying its response to hypomethylation agents. By using cutting edge single-cell mulitomic approaches, we could profile the genetic mutations, transcriptome, surface antibody expression at single-cell level, and thus determine the clonal structure and molecular driver before and after therapy. The ultimate goal is to identify cell type specific gene signatures and surface markers for outcome prediction.
