个人简介
His research focuses on integrated urban water management and in broad areas linked to the water-environment-health nexus. Recent research includes the development of data-driven methods artificial intelligence models for urban water systems and circular economy strategy selection, given the uncertainty in future socio-economic conditions and the need for carbon neutrality implemented to be reliable, resilient, and sustainable. He has received several competitive fellowship awards for his research excellence, including the UK Royal Society Newton International Fellowship in 2016 and the Excellent Young Scholarship of the National Natural Science of Foundation of China in 2019. He was also a recipient of the MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 China Award in 2017 and one of the eight shortlisted researchers for the Nature Research Awards for Driving Global Impact in 2021. His research has appeared in prestigious scientific venues such as PNAS, Science Advances, Nature Communications, Engineering, Environmental Science & Technology, and Water Research. He is currently serving as an associate editor for the National Science Open, and an editorial board member for ACS ES&T Water, Environmental Science and Ecotechnology, and other international and national peer-reviewed journals.
