Xiaomin Chen

Xiaomin Chen received the PhD degree in mathematics from Hamilton Institute, Maynooth University, Ireland, in September 2013. She is currently a senior lecturer with the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Northumbria University, U.K. Prior to this she was a research associate with the Department of Computer Science, Loughborough University, U.K., from September 2014 – August 2015. From December 2012 to August 2013, she was a postdoc research fellow with Hamilton Institute, Maynooth University, Ireland. Her research is mainly focused on data privacy, cyber security, machine learning, wireless networking, resource allocation, and optimisation.
