Dr. Xiaohua (Jamie) Ge is a Lecturer in School of Software and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He received the B.Eng. degree in electronic and information engineering from Nanchang Hangkong University, China, in 2008, the M.Eng. degree in control theory and control engineering from Hangzhou Dianzi University, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from Central Queensland University, Australia, in 2014. He was a Research Assistant with the Centre for Intelligent and Networked Systems, Central Queensland University, from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, he was a Research Fellow with the Centre for Intelligent and Networked Systems, Central Queensland University, Rockhampton, Australia. From 2015 to 2016, he was a Research Fellow with the Griffith School of Engineering, Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia.
Dr. Ge’s research is oriented towards general systems and control theory with an emphasis on the study of control and estimation of network-based systems where data communication/transmission among system components (e.g., sensors, controllers/estimators, actuators) is performed via (wireless) resource-constrained communication networks. More specifically, Dr. Ge focuses on shaping the foundations of developing multi-disciplinary theories and techniques for concrete modelling, analysis and design of (distributed) networked control systems, cyber-physical systems, multi-agent systems, (wireless) sensor networks.
