以冷冻电镜和X-射线晶体学为主要手段,综合运用各种生物化学、生物物理和细胞生物学方法,研究:
(1)细菌的光合作用和能量代谢机制,及其在绿色氢能和生物固碳中的应用;
(2)基于结构的蛋白质分子设计,及其在医药中间体合成中的应用;
(3)血管生成抑制剂类微生物药物的研发。
