Meng Xiangyu, Doctor of Engineering, Senior Engineer, Associate Researcher. Member of the Energy System Engineering Professional Committee of the China Energy Research Association, member of the Hydrogen Energy Professional Committee of the China Energy Research Association, member of the Low Carbon Special Committee of the Aeronautical Climate Action Team ACT of the International Civil Aviation Organization, member of the Fuel Cell Professional Committee of the China Battery Industry Association, core expert of the carbon neutrality technology strategy expert group of the Ministry of Science and Technology, member of the Low Carbon Professional Committee of the Guangdong Society of Environmental Sciences, and currently the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, Deputy Director of carbon neutrality Research Office, Innovation Center of Tsinghua University Research Institute in Shenzhen, Dongguan (Tsinghua Dongguan Innovation Center).
Dr. Meng Xiangyu's research direction is: "dual carbon" strategy and policies, regional low-carbon development planning and strategic research; Policy research on addressing climate change; Hydrogen energy development strategy, planning, and policies; Advanced hydrogen storage technology and system research and development; Chemical energy-saving technology; Green buildings and energy-saving technologies; Theoretical and technical research on heat transfer process enhancement.
In recent years, Dr. Meng Xiangyu has led and participated in more than ten national major research and development projects, provincial and ministerial research projects, and research and development projects of prefecture level and national key enterprises. He has published over 40 papers in renowned journals and conferences both domestically and internationally, authorized two national invention patents, and participated in the publication of two monographs.
