Xia Hong received the B.S. degree in electronics from Peking University, Beijing, China, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering and applied science from Yale University, New Haven, CT, USA. She is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, NE, USA.
