(1) 水稻雄性不育及杂交育种研究;
探究水稻花药花粉发育分子机制,挖掘重要基因,构建新一代杂交育种技术体系, 并用于水稻杂交育种实践
(2) 水稻分子设计育种
挖掘水稻重要农业性状基因,如低温耐受性、籽粒大小、植株形态花药、开花时间等,开展分子设计育种。
(3) 植物与病原细菌分子互作
以丁香假单胞菌与植物互作为研究系统,研究细菌致病及诱导寄主免疫的分子机理
