个人简介
This is ratified by decades of seminal contributions to medical science, with a roll call of achievements including discovery of calcium-permeable ion channel TRPV4 in 2000 while at Rockefeller University, the first vertebrate osmoreceptor, and my continued research over 17 years at Duke. I am the most referenced author in the TRPV4 arena. Beyond TRPV4, I am renowned for seminal discoveries of gene regulatory mechanisms relevant for neuroprotection, leadership of interdisciplinary collaborations such as the Duke trigeminal pain program, foundation and successful leadership of two clinical operations at Duke Health, and foundation of my own start-up, TRPblue.
