Bio
PhD eng. I complete my Master and Doctorate degrees in Food Microbiology from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology - University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, where I am currently work as an Assistant Professor. My scientific activity focuses on the study of the genetic basis of antibiotic resistance and virulence, including enterotoxicity and the ability to form biofilm of microorganisms isolated from food, especially ready-to-eat food. I have gained scientific experience, among others at the University of Lisboa, University of Catania, University of Barcelona; University of Thessaloniki; Complutense University of Madrid; Leipzig University, Institut Pasteur in France. I am laureate of an outgoing scholarship awarded by the Society of Applied Microbiology & Federation of European Microbiologists. I participated in the works of the Working Group Intergovernmental Task Force on Antimicrobial Resistance (TFAMR) at FAO/WHO.
