个人简介
William Gallagher is a PhD candidate in robotics at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. His current research is focused on the development of advanced human-machine interfaces for more natural physical human-robot interaction. Other research interests include design of novel HRI systems and development of robotics for use in space. He has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He has been involved with the development of satellite servicing robots at the Satellite Servicing Capabilities Office at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and with the design of mechanisms for comet sampling at the NASA/Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
