Bio
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Scripps Research and Howard Hughes Medical Institute. My research interests is to understand how neurons and non-neuronal cells decode and process cardiovascular mechanical forces in health and disease. By taking advantage of mechanobiology, electrophysiology, mouse genetic tools, virus-guided anatomical mapping, in vivo calcium imaging, and optogenetics, my overarching goal is to provide novel insights into cardiovascular physiology and novel therapeutic approaches to treat cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension and heart arrhythmia.
