Bio
Weihua Zhou (Member, IEEE) was born in Anhui, China, in 1993. He received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Honors College, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, in 2014, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the School of Automation, Northwestern Polytechnical University, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, in 2020. From November 2015 to May 2016, he was a Junior Research Assistant with the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. From August 2020 to November 2020, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Marine Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. In 2021, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia. His research interests include modeling and control of power electronic converters, energy storage systems, and stability analysis and enhancement of power electronic- and underground cable-based modern power systems.
