个人简介
Research in my lab is focused on two areas: The pathophysiology of hypoxia, and the pathogenesis and prevention of acute high altitude disease.
In each of these projects, we use a combination of in vitro and in vivo experiments to clarify the mechanisms that contribute to provide the practical and effective theoretical basis on the prevention and treatment of High altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE). The overall goal of these studies is to understand basic principles in HAPE and to use this information to shed light on acute high altitude disease.
