Dr. Yan’s research centers on the genetic and epigenetic regulation of fertility, as well as the epigenetic contributions of gametes (sperm and eggs) to fertilization, early embryonic development, and long-term health in adulthood. His decision to join WSU was influenced by his long-standing familiarity with its renowned reproductive biology program and his commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and thriving environment for faculty, staff, and trainees.
