His major work involves developing innovative modelling and optimisation methods for energy system (including electricity, gas and hydrogen) planning and operation that facilitate electricity and gas network operators transform their system into smarter grids with enhanced use of the current assets and improve operational efficiency, security and resilience. He has experience in managing UK and EU funded research projects. The experience in writing proposals and collaboration work with other colleagues and institute also allows him to develop relationships with people from both Academia and Industry. He has good communication skills, developed through conference and presentations.
