Bio
Wang Jun, male, Han nationality, was born in November 1979. In 2006, he was awarded a post-doctoral grant from the Irish government and went to Trinity College Dublin, a well-known European university, and joined the research team of Professor Werner Blau, an internationally renowned material physicist and academician of the Royal Irish Academy of Sciences, as a post-doctoral researcher and has been serving The leader of the nanophotonics research group, engaged in the photonics research of graphene and carbon nanotubes.
Engaged in scientific research in the field of photonics for more than 10 years, combined with laser technology and nanotechnology, systematically developed ultrafast nonlinear optics for important two-dimensional nano-semiconductors such as layered transition metal sulfides, black phosphorus, graphene, etc., especially third-order Research work on nonlinear optics and optical non-parametric processes has made a number of original research results in the nonlinear properties, physical mechanisms, photonic devices, and material preparation of two-dimensional semiconductors.

Research Focus
Nonlinear optics in low-dimensional materials:
[1] Investigate the nonlinear absorption effect and nonlinear spectroscopy, especially the third-order nonlinear mechanism of layered transition metal dichalcogenides and graphene, black phosphorus, etc.
[2] Develop photonic devices, such as ultrafast saturable absorbers, optical limiters, etc..
