Wang Jie

Jie Wang was born in Sichuan, China, in 1983. He received the M.S. degree in mining engineering from the Sinosteel Maanshan Institute of Mining Research, China. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in mining engineering with the Wuhan University of Science and Technology, China. He is also a Senior Engineer-Mining Engineering. He has presided more than six scientific research projects. He is the holder of three patents. His research interests include fuzzy number analysis and its applications, high slope optimization and prevention and control, and roof fall accidents control and prevention in underground mines.
