• Satellite data generalized assimilation
-Non-Gaussian variational assimilation, theoretical and applied retrieval, channel selection, outlier removal, bias correction, cloud detection, observation error re-estimation, radiative transfer
• Mathematical inverse problems in atmospheric science
-precipitation fusion, downscaling, data sparseness
• Artificial intelligence (AI) and Deep learning
