Bio
He serviced 9 countries in Central America and the Caribbean. His research has focused primarily on improving nitrogen use efficiency in cereal crops working in tandem with mechanical and electrical engineers. The GreenSeeker sensor that is now sold commercially around the world is a product of the work that Dr. John Solie, Dr. Marvin Stone, Dr. Randy Taylor and he developed. Their team of plant and engineering scientists has collaborative sensor based projects in Argentina, Mexico, India, China, Australia, Canada, and Kenya. Also, they now have 29 on-line, functional sensor based N rate algorithms that are being used worldwide for corn, wheat, canola, sorghum, bermudagrass, and cotton.
