Volker Rath

Volker is a retired researcher from the Department of Geophysics, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. He is currently still active in paleoclimate from boreholes, and electromagnetic imaging methods, particularly in uncertainty. Active projects deal with the characterization of the volcanoes of Sao Miguel, Azores Islands. Recently, the French Alps were added to his research interests, in particular the relationship of electrical structure, geofluids, and seismic swarm activity.
