His doctoral thesis covered experimental model of TNF-alpha effects on different intracellular levels on isolated lymphocytes from patients with lymphoma, including investigation of apoptosis, analyses of morphology, biochemical disturbance and immunology. He authored more than 240 articles in peer reviewed international journals, national journals, and several chapters in international and national books in hematology, molecular medicine and oncology. He presented over 60 lectures at international conferences. He received the award of the University Kragujevac, for outstanding contribution to science, the Award of the Ministry of Science of Serbia, and also several International grants including European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), European Cancer Research association (EACR), International Cytokine and Interferon Society (ICIS) and UNESCO.
