Vishal Ramadoss (Member, IEEE) was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in 1990. He received the B.E. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2011, the master’s degree in control and robotics from the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France, in 2014, the master’s degree in robotics engineering and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering and robotics from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 2015 and 2020, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the PMAR Robotics Group, Department of Mechanical, Energy, Management, and Transportation Engineering, University of Genoa. His research interests include kinematics and design of redundantly actuated complex mechanisms, musculoskeletal robots, rehabilitation and biomechatronics, tensegrity robots, and human–robot interaction.
