Bio
Vincent Straub is an interdisciplinary researcher currently working at the Alan Turing Institute in the Public Policy Programme led by Helen Margetts. He is interested in understanding the origins of collective human behaviour and topics of societal concern, especially social inequality, gender equality, and AI ethics, among other topics. He joined the Alan Turing Institute in 2022 and was previously part of the Science of Intelligence Cluster at the Humboldt University of Berlin (2020-2022), the University of Oxford (2019-2020), and the Center for Collective Intelligence Design at Nesta (2018-2019). He holds an MSc in Social Data Science from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from King's College London. He is currently also a member of the European Cultural Parliament Future Generation and has previously been a Standing Committee Member of the European Forum Alpbach, and an Ambassador for the Jubel European Democracy Festival.
