Vijay A Ramchandani is a Clinical Investigator and Chief of the Section on Human Psychopharmacology, Division of Intramural Clinical and Biological Research, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, one of the National Institutes of Health. Vijay's research examines the clinical pharmacology of alcohol using human laboratory models of alcohol consumption and response, with the goal of understanding the etiology of alcohol use disorder as well as developing novel pharmacotherapeutic approaches for this devastating illness.
