My long term research interest involves the development of a comprehensive understanding of neuronal small compartment such as dendritic spines, axons and synaptic terminals, and how they contribute to the physiology of synaptic function. My academic training and research experience have provided me with an excellent background in multiple biological disciplines including neuroscience, cellular and molecular biology, physiology, development, and in vivo models of disease.
