Bio
Veselin N. Ivanović (A’02–M’08–SM’10) was born in Cetinje, Montenegro, in 1970. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Montenegro in 1993, 1996, and 2001. In 2001, he received the Siemens Award for scientific achievements in his Ph.D. research.
Since 1994, he has been with the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Montenegro, where he has been a Full Professor since 2012. His current research interests are in the areas of signal processing, time- and space/spatial-frequency signal analysis, and design and implementation of signal processing systems.
Prof. Ivanović was a member of a research group that received a research award grant for 2001 to 2003 from the Volkswagen Foundation, Germany. He was a member of committees of some international conferences. He is a reviewer in several world leading journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and Signal Processing (Elsevier). He is an EURASIP member.
