Bio
My thesis, supervised by Prof. D. Narayana Rao, dealt with Incoherent Laser Spectroscopy for the measurement of ultra-fast relaxation times and third-order nonlinearities in a variety of organic molecules, including C60, Porphyrins, and Phthalocyanines, using a nanosecond laser. I had spent close to three years as a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. Majid Ebrahim-Zadeh (Now at ICFO, Barcelona, Spain) at University of St. Andrews, Scotland, UK working in the area of Semiconductor Nonlinear Optics investigating semiconductor heterostructures for nonlinear frequency conversion using different phase-matching schemes with femtosecond pulses. Since June 2007 I am associated with the Advanced Center of Research in High Energy Materials (ACRHEM), UoH working towards understanding the interaction of ns, ps, and fs laser pulses with high energy materials using various time-resolved spectroscopic techniques. I have published >210 papers in refereed international journals and >250 papers in national/international conference proceedings. My papers are cited more than 60229/5474 times with an h-index of 44/39 (Google Scholar/SCOPUS) as of January 2021.
