个人简介
I'm interested in solving real life applications using mathematical models, in particular, data driven models capable of influencing business decisions. My research work is heavily quantitative, where I use analytical models and optimization techniques to analyze demand trends of products in online markets to improve profits and reduce costs. I'm currently working in the intersection of machine learning and operations research, where I design scalable online learning algorithms (multi-armed bandits) for revenue management problems. Applications include online learning in identifying the ads with highest monetary returns, identifying the optimal set of items to recommend to users on platforms like Netlifx and Amazon. In the past, I've worked on machine learning and graphical model based techniques for predicting missing labels for users on Social networks.
