Bio
My research area is mainly focused on the degradation mechanism of metallic orthopaedic implants. Particularly, investigating the wear-corrosion synergistic effect (Tribocorrosion) on Ti-based alloys and CoCrMo alloy under the inflammatory condition. In addition, I am also working on surface modification such as shot peening, laser shock peening and hard coating by PVD and studying its influence on the tribocorrosion behaviour.
