Bio
Steve Vanlanduit received the Ph.D. degree in high spatial resolution modal analysis from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Brussels, Belgium, in 2001.
In 2003, he was appointed as a Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, VUB. In 2014, he became the Head of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, University of Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium. He has authored over 200 journal publications on the use of optical measurement techniques in different domains (flow measurement, vibration engineering, robotics, quality control, and materials inspection). His research interests include laser- and camera-based optical measurement techniques.
Dr. Vanlanduit is actively involved in the organization of several international conferences on optical measurement techniques. He is the Editor of the scientific journals, including Measurement (Elsevier), Measurement: Sensors (Elsevier), Sensors (MDPI), and Metrology (MDPI).
