个人简介
Vanessa Rodríguez Fanjul graduated as Biochemist from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) in 2004. She obtained a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine from the same University in 2011 developing her work at the Spanish Research Council (CSIC). She focused her work on the role of MKP1 protein regulating the tumorogenesis and chemotherapy response to carboplatin (CBDCA) in lung and skin cancer by using both, cellular and animal models. In 2013 she joined NanoOncology Laboratory in IMDEA Nanociencia as Postdoctoral fellow where she worked on cytotoxicity and uptake and distribution mechanism of magnetic nanoparticles in different cell lines and cancer stem cells from human glioblastoma multiform (GBM). Currently, she is a Collaborator researcher in the Metallodrugs Laboratory at IMDEA Nanociencia, studying the cytotoxic effect, mechanism of action and molecular targets of different metal complexes of Ru, Ir, Os, Rh and Re.
