个人简介
Vanesa Muñoz Perales is a postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Energy. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry by UC3M, under supervision of Marcos Vera Coello. Her doctoral research focused on Advancing Electrochemical Reactors for Redox Flow Batteries through experimental diagnostics and mathematical modelling.
Vanesa completed her Bachelor in Chemical Engineering in February 2017 at University Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain). During her studies she did an internship and developed her BSc Thesis at CIEMAT (Madrid) in collaboration with the Department of Chemical and Environmental Technology at URJC (2015-2016). She worked on modeling, CFD simulation and experimental validation of photocatalytic reactors for the treatment of pollutants in air, and developed a rigorous kinetic model for the photocatalytic NOx removal.
She also holds a MSc in Renewable Energy in Electrical Systems from Graduate School of Engineering and Basic Sciences at UC3M (2018). During her master studies she got an internship to develop the MSc Thesis at ABB-CRC in Västerås (Sweden). She focused on the simulation of a new thermal and electrical insulating system for winding in electrical equipment
