V. Acacio

My research focuses on the study of resilience, patterns and processes of change of Mediterranean oak ecosystems, in particular cork oak ecosystems, at the landscape and the plant community scales. I am also interested on the theory of regime shifts and tipping points applied to oak forest ecosystems, looking for early warning indicators to assess the risk of oak woodland loss and to restore degraded woodlands.
