My current project focuses on identifying the sub-types of prostate cancer using unsupervised machine learning algorithms with support from the Prostate Cancer Research Center.
Previously, I worked in the University of Bristol in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline, to identify the drug targets for autoimmune diseases. Before that, my work had focused on automated parsing of unstructured and semi-structured text (especially, postal addresses) in Goldsmiths, University of London, which was also an industrial collaboration with the e-invoicing company, Tungsten Network. My first postdoctoral project in the Ulster University had given me an insight into personalised medicine in terms of the computational and data storage challenges.
