Bio
I go by Vaish (she/her) and I am primarily interested in how cells use and fine tune their translation (protein synthesis) in order to adjust and adapt either to pathological conditions, to their environment or in order to achieve response to external stimuli. My current research aims to understand the mechanism of translational control in neurons of patients with Fragile X Syndrome.
