Bio
Dr. Vaida Steponavičienė from Lithuania. Currently I'm Researcher at Vytautas Magnus University Department of Agroecosystems and Soil Sciences.
My research area are Agroecosystem sustainability and healthy soil, decomposition of plant residues, biopreparations, reduced tillage and sowing, no-till
technology, intercropping, soil agrochemical and agrophysical properties, information technology, mobile applications in agriculture, assessment of the impact of farming on the soil and the environment, soil CO2 emissions.
Agrobiology laboratory is in Open access Joint Research Centre of Agriculture and Forestry was established , where is concentrated research into sustainable use of biological resources of agriculture and forests, namely: regularities of plant evolution and productivity formation, soil ecology, formation of plant adaptability and productivity with the help of biotechnological methods, application of nanotechnology achievements, impact of climate change on forest ecosystems, etc.
