Mr. Vikas Rana, a skilled Culinary & Service Professional: Mr. Vikas Rana is a highly skilled Culinary & Service Professional with expertise in international and national cuisine. He is known for his innovative approach to creating customized dining experiences. With over 10 years of progressive experience, he has successfully managed the provision of fine dining for hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Throughout his career, Mr. Vikas Rana has refined the art of cooking and developed an extensive knowledge of various cuisines, including different regional cuisines from culturally diverse regions around the globe. His expertise lies in creating impressive menus that cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Currently, Mr. Vikas Rana is associated with Nims University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Hotel Management since August 2019. Prior to this, from March 2013 to December 2018, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Bells Institute of Management and Technology in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
Additionally, from August 2010 to October 2012, he served as a Food Production Instructor at S.D.S.J.I.T.I. Nagali in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. Mr. Vikas Rana started his professional career in December 2008 as an Indian Chef (Commi-III) at Hotel Kalinga Grand in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. With a total of 13 years of teaching and academic experience, he has gained valuable expertise in Hotel Management. In the field of research, Mr. Vikas Rana has made significant contributions. He has published six research papers in UGC (University Grants Commission) approved journals, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence. Furthermore, he has contributed a chapter on "Food Tourism" in a book, further highlighting his expertise in the subject. To stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, Mr. Vikas Rana has attended five national conferences related to Hotel Management. Overall, Mr. Vikas Rana's extensive experience, culinary expertise, teaching background, and research contributions make him a valuable asset in the field of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts.
