1) Presently working as Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Food Technology, University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT), Kavayitri Bahinabai Choudhary North Maharashtra University (KBCNMU), Jalgaon (Maharashtra) India.
2) Completed B.Tech. and M.E. in Food Technology from Laxminarayan Institute of Technology (LIT), Nagpur University, Nagpur (Maharashtra) and Ph.D. from UICT, KBCNMU, Jalgaon (Maharashtra) India.
3) Having 17 years of teaching experience and 7 years of industrial experience.
4) Joined Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) Govt. of India in 2019-20 through Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (IIFPT), Thanjavur (Presently known as NIFTEM Thanjavur: An Institute of National Importance) and worked as Associate Professor & In-Charge at IIFPT’s Liaison Office, Bathinda Punjab for one year.
5) Served various Food Industries like BEC Foods (Bhilai, Chattisgarh) as Food Technologist (Executive Production), Sun-Sip Ltd. Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) as Food Technologist (Junior Manager Production), Lotus Chocolate Company Ltd., Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) as Quality Control Executive and in Sobisco Foods Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur (Maharashtra) as Quality Control Manager.
6) Guided 58 M.Tech. students for research projects, presently giving guidance to 5 students for Ph.D., Published 61 research papers in National and International journals and Presented paper in Texas (USA) and Singapore.
7) Granted three Indian patents
8) Received trainings in organizations like IIT Kharagpur, AICTE New Delhi, ICT Mumbai, IIM Indore, SVNIT Surat, NITTR Bhopal, COEP Pune, HBTI Kanpur, Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya Jabalpur, Jai Narain Vyas University Jodhpur etc.
9) Life member of Association of Food Scientists & Technologists India (AFSTI), Oil Technologists Association of India (OTAI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)
10) Awarded with Indo-Asian Research Excellence Award-2022 in Food Technology on 28th Feb. 2022, by International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation (IMRF), regd with Govt. of India NITI Aayog, NGO Darpan, Govt. of A. P. Vijayawada.
11) Received Best Faculty Award in the International Research Awards on Science, Technology and Management”-INSO on 30 Nov. 2022. The award was conferred by Tamil Nadu based non-profit organization VDGOOD Professional Association registered under Ministry of Corporate Affair Govt. of India
12) Area of research and teaching: Food Preservation, Food Processing, Food Quality and Safety, Food Formulation, Value Addition to Food Waste.
