Vladimir V. Osipov

Vladimir V. Osipov was born in 1943. He received the specialist’s degree from the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute, Tomsk, Russia, in 1967, the Candidate of Sciences degree from the V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, Tomsk, in 1975, and the Doctor of Sciences degree from the Institute of High Current Electronics, Tomsk, in 1988. He has been a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, since 2016. He is currently with the Institute of Electrophysics, Ural Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, Ekaterinburg, Russia, where he is a Chief Researcher and the Head of the Laboratory of Quantum Electronics. His current research interests include physics of gas discharge, quantum electronics, and material-radiation interaction.
