Kartik, V.

Venkataraman Kartik received the B.E. degree from the Delhi College of Engineering, New Delhi, India, in 2000, the M.S. degree from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in 2006, all in mechanical engineering. After receiving his Ph.D., he was with the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory, Rüschlikon, Switzerland. He joined IIT Bombay in 2011, where he is currently an Associate Professor of mechanical engineering. His current research interests include atomic force microscopy, nonlinear dynamics, sensors and actuators, and high-speed dynamic position control systems.
