个人简介
I am a multidisciplinary researcher with an MD and a PhD, specializing in neurology, biomedical engineering, photonics, and imaging science. I place strong emphasis on machine learning and artificial intelligence to develop multimodal laser speckle and fluorescent imaging solutions for diagnosing severe vascular and neurological problems. These solutions are currently patented and undergoing preclinical and clinical trials.
With over 20 years of experience in R&D management across industry and academia, I have significantly contributed by pioneering advanced imaging techniques, collaborating with esteemed research groups at the Weizmann Institute as well as European and US universities, and publishing in leading journals. Internationally recognized as an expert in in vivo optical imaging, I am a Fellow of the Royal Microscopical Society and a Senior Member of SPIE.
My expertise extends to teaching preclinical imaging, advanced optical microscopy, and image processing, as well as developing innovative bioimaging instruments and solutions. By combining my experience and proficiency in machine learning and AI, I have successfully prototyped imaging workflows and implemented them using various software codes. My dedication to excellence and innovation has cemented my influence and reputation within the scientific community.
