Vincent Andrieu

Vincent Andrieu received the Graduate degree in applied mathematics from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rouen, Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, France, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, Paris, France, in 2005. In 2006, he had a research appointment with the Control and Power Group, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London, London, U.K. In 2008, he joined the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems, CNRS, Toulouse, France, as a CNRS charge de recherche. Since 2010, he has been with the Laboratoire d’Automatique, de Génie des Procédés et de Génie Pharmaceutique (UMR CNRS 5007), Université de Lyon 1, Villeurbanne, France. He is a Senior Researcher with CNRS (Directeur de recherche). He has worked ONERA (French Aerospace Research Company). In 2014, he joined the functional analysis group from Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Wuppertal, Germany, for two sabbatical years. His main research interests include feedback stabilization of controlled dynamical nonlinear systems and state estimation problems. He is also interested in practical application of these theoretical problems and especially in the field of aeronautics and chemical engineering. Dr. Andrieu has been an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and a Senior Editor for System and Control Letters since 2018.
